Access to the Community Information Exchange is through an Automatic Programming Interface (API). This means that you cannot view or access the information directly. To access the Community Information Exchange you will need to be a Software Developer or have some experience working with APIs.
A central resource where information is maintained
The Community Information Exchange is a secure platform where information can be accessed and used for community purpose. The Community Information Exchange is focused on reducing duplication. Currently community organisations, councils and governments collected and managed their own information. This information can now be accessed through the Community Information Exchange.
Using the Community Information Exchange API, means that organisations no longer need to create their own directory.
